As a writing coach I can help you improve your writing skills and achieve your writing goals. We can work together at any stage of the writing project, from brainstorming to editing and publishing. I will help you identify and overcome your fears, and figure out why you’re stuck.

Our work together will include help with:

• Writing craft: Provide in-depth analysis of your structure, scenes, and prose and offer a series of writing “hacks” to craft the perfect toolbox.
• Time management: Assist in finding time in your schedule to write and create a writing routine.
• Writer’s block: Learn to overcome writer’s block and fight self-doubt and impostor syndrome.
• Authenticity: Find your voice and be authentic and effective in your writing.
• Developmental editing: Hone the manuscript, craft an outline, and work on sample chapters.
• The publishing process: Identify publishing outlets and agents, where appropriate, draft query letters, and assemble a pitch package.
• Draft editing: Receive conceptual and line edits of your draft at various stages.

With over twenty-five years of experience in higher education serving in a number of leadership roles at some of the best colleges and universities in the country, I offer coaching for your student to assist in the college application and admission process. I can also work with them one-on-one to identify and improve their academic skills, study habits, and goal-setting strategies, helping them achieve their academic potential by addressing barriers and developing effective learning techniques.
